As we head towards the Kerry deadline let us realize that Israel has no partner for peace. Israel is essentially making peace with a brick wall that likes to chuck bricks at you. The sooner Israel finally realizes it, the better we will all be.
Why do I say this? Don’t the Palestinians want peace as much as Israel does? Some individuals, maybe, Hamas, Fatah, and the BDS movement and their supporters not so much. Why do I say this? Why do I have such a pessimistic outlook on this? Because this is not my first rodeo. I have been around the bend a number of times and frankly, I have little hope for the peace process…practically none, actually.
Sometimes I think there may be hope and just as that glimmer of hope appears it is crushed by the strong hand of reality. The BDS
movement is apparently threatened by the little Zionist twitter accounts. So they made a list for the hardworking staff at twitter for the purpose of deleting these blogs as reported by IsraellyCool. All these blogs were pro-Israel, most of the time purely by name. They were labeled with stars as Zionism and big blogs. We also had the distinct pleasure of being named trolls.
Of course we’re trolls because we perpetuate lies and misinformation….nope.
Because we attack innocent people with rocks and rockets….nope.
Oh, I know we harass people and go on their blogs and tell them to kill themselves and call them baby killers and compare them to nazis….nope, still not us. But if you’ve played this game before you know who the real winners are.
Sadly though, and as much as I hate to admit it, it is a very good strategy. They have perfected this strategy of demonetization and propaganda. It is a time-long strategy that Israel finally seems to be getting.
It was reported a few days ago that Israel, rightfully, delayed the release of terrorists. Finally, some brains….well, not quite. Israel stated basically, “We won’t release them yet, only when the Palestinians agree to extend peace talks deadline.” The deadline is the end of April.
Let me ask this. Why would a people who legitimately want peace put deadlines on peace talks? Simple because they do not want it. Peace would require too much work and would give them way too much independence than they don’t actually want. Independence would mean they would be solely responsible for themselves and their people. They do not like that nasty word called “responsibility”. They want to depend on Israel because then they have someone to blame for their problems.
They are not interested in peace, on the contrary they are interested in pieces, of Israel that is. And until that mentality changes peace is about as far as Pluto is to Earth.
